Adjustable time profiles allow shutters or awnings to move up or down automatically. Thus, they are adapted to the users’ daily routine or to the current weather conditions. The device is controlled flexibly by smartphone, via push-buttons or remote controls or simply using voice control (via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant).
SHUTTER CONTROL DEPENDING ON THE SUN POSITION
Wake up feeling relaxed in the morning or secure your home in the evening: Shutters can be controlled automatically in accordance with the sunrise and sunset. Automatic shading offers smart insulation to avoid rooms from overheating during summer.
Shutters are moved down automatically when it is getting dark or if you are away from home – this secures windows and doors and can also protect you privacy or suggest someone is present.
Easy start-up thanks to guided calibration run via the app. Suitable for all standard tube motors.
Compact design for easy installation in flush-mounting boxes. Supports the connection of standard push-buttons via screwless clamps for local operation. The installation is also possible with surface-mounted junction boxes (e.g. ELS Spelsberg Abox 25) in protected outdoor areas, such as in garages or under a roof overhang.
The Homematic IP Shutter Actuator – flush-mount is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and offers automatic control of shutters and awnings with all standard tube motors.
Therefore, the small actuator is installed into a flush-mounted box and wired to the existing tube motor. After set-up individual week profiles can be defined, also depending on the sunrise and sunset. For example, on weekdays the shutter is raised after sunrise, but not before 6:30 a.m.. Furthermore, an additional lock-out, storm and wind protection function is available in combination with the Homematic IP app and other components.
Once mounted, the window covering can be operated via Homematic IP app, with the Homematic IP Remote Control or in a conventional manner directly via two push-buttons that are connected by screwless clamps.
Thanks to the low power consumption in standby of at least 0.2 Watt, users don’t need to worry about ongoing energy costs.
