On a warm summer evening you're sitting outside on the terrace and enjoying the sunset - until at 9:30 pm the shutters of the terrace door descend as usual. Now you have to quickly jump into the house before the route through the door is closed off. You can eliminate this stressful situation. The Homematic IP window handle sensor detects the position of the window handle and thus whether your window is tilted, open or closed. In combination with a shutter actuator, you also make the shutters on the patio door smart. So the shutters only go down when the door is closed.

Monitoring for a secure home

Via the Homematic IP app, you can immediately detect the opening or closing of windows and doors.

The combination with a Homematic IP alarm siren (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2) makes your home more secure. Because with it, a loud alarm is automatically triggered when a window or door is opened.

Adaptation to the window handle

Match your window handle sensor to the look of your window handle.

For this purpose, two cover caps in white and silver are included that visually match your window handle.

Fresh air without wasting energy

The room temperature is automatically lowered during ventilation when you connect the window handle sensor to Homematic IP radiator thermostats.

You can even set the lowering temperature individually. The comfort temperature is automatically restored as soon as you close the window.
