The worry's always there: The cellar fills up due to heavy rain or the washing machine is faulty, causing large amounts of water to escape. That can cause serious damage. With the Homematic IP smart water sensor, you'll feel safe in your smart home. Because if there's a water leak, the sensor alerts you with the integrated loud siren and also via notifications in the app.

If there is a water alarm, you are informed immediately in the app via a push message. Movement of or tampering with the water sensor is detected and reported to you. That's done via the smart product's built-in incline sensor.

An individual choice of alarm signals
Choose whether the water sensor should trigger only in case of moisture, only in case of water or in both cases. You can also set the alarm signal individually - both audibly and visually - as well as the alarm duration.
You can conveniently set all the functions in the Homematic IP app.

Alarm throughout the house
Combine the water sensor with a Homematic IP alarm siren (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2) – the alarm will then also be emitted via the siren.
