Turn for the correct right light

Your smart lighting offers you the perfect ambience at any time of day - and you don't have to lift a finger. Occasionally, the automated dimmed light isn't quite right and you want to readjust it manually. With the Homematic IP rotary switch, you can dim your lights manually as required. And best of all: The wall-mounted remote control will dim your lighting even when the internet is down. That's because the devices communicate with each other wirelessly.

Retrofitting made easy

Switch and dim your lights from anywhere in the smart home - even if there's no switch at all in the desired location. To do this, first connect your lights to Homematic IP dimming actuators (HmIP-FDT, HmIP-BDT or HmIP-PDT).

You can then install the IP rotary switch anywhere in the room. It is battery-operated and communicates wirelessly with the dimming actuators.

Great flexibility thanks to a modular design

Use the rotary switch individually. It's built in such a way that it can be installed with maximum flexibility:

Adhesive or screw mounting in the supplied interchangeable frame with the supplied mounting material
Integration into existing switch series with a Size 55 frame of the most popular manufacturers
Mounting on a free flush-mounted box with the mounting plate optimised for this purpose
Integration into the Homematic IP desktop stand (HmIP-DS55) for a longer battery life
As an alternative to battery operation, the wall thermostat can also be supplied with 230 V via the Homematic IP power supply unit for brand switches (HmIP-BPS).

Switching and dimming the smart way and intuitively

Switch the lighting on or off by pressing the dial and dim the light by simply turning it.

Lightning-fast installation

Mount the pushbutton where you want it: on a wall, on glass or on items of furniture - without its own power cable.

Installation is very simple without wiring. All you need is the supplied adhesive strips or screws. The pushbutton is also suitable for rented flats, as you can remove the adhesive strips without leaving any residue if you move out.
