Just a moment ago you were enjoying the weather on the terrace, then suddenly it's started to rain. Now the race is on to not get wet: Close the skylight, take the laundry off the washing line and retract the awning. A smart home can't do your laundry for you but it can retract your awning automatically. This is thanks to the rain sensor, which detects even the smallest amount of rain and, combined with a Homematic IP shutter actuator, retracts your awning straight away.
