Presence sensor

Your light should ideally only switch on automatically when someone is in the room. It should switch off again when they leave the room. The Homematic IP presence sensor does this reliably.

Light on – in response to the slightest movement.

Many presence sensors control the lighting, for example in waiting rooms. But unfortunately the sensors only detect clear movements such as walking, so after a short time you're in the dark. The Homematic IP presence detector is better. It detects even the slightest movements and won't let you down. If you combine the presence detector with other smart home devices, you can utilise additional functions. Such as burglar alarms.

Powerful performance in the smallest space

The powerful lens detects even the slightest movements, such as typing on a keyboard. The high-resolution sensor detects movements within a range of up to 7 metres.

Secure monitoring for greater protection

Inconspicuously installed on the ceiling, the sensitive sensor will monitor the room reliably.

In the event of a break-in for example, the sensor provides a loud alarm in conjunction with an alarm siren. (e.g. HmIP-ASIR-2).

Flexible installation

The presence detector can be flexibly mounted to suit your needs.

The anchors and screws supplied allow flexible ceiling mounting. The power supply is wireless via battery operation.

Switches on light when it's needed

The light is switched on automatically when someone is present. If even the slightest movement is no longer detected, the light switches off again.

The integrated twilight sensor provides additional ambient brightness detection. This switches off the lighting as soon as it's light enough in the room.

Sensitivity adaptation

Higher surface temperatures don't impair the sensor's sensitivity. That's thanks to the presence detector's temperature compensation.

Even with high temperatures (e.g. where underfloor heating is installed), it provides successful and precise presence detection in the room.
